These Terms govern access to and use of the Resolution Assurance™ platform, including sealing, verification reference functions, and related services.
Last updated: January 2026
1. Scope and purpose
Resolution Assurance™ provides cryptographic sealing and verification-reference services that establish immutable technical reference points for artefacts and processes.
The platform does not assess correctness, truth, compliance, or legal sufficiency unless expressly stated in a written reliance statement executed by Resolution Assurance™.
2. Eligibility and accounts
Access is limited to authorised individuals acting on behalf of themselves or an organisation. Customers are responsible for:
- Ensuring authorised use and role-based access.
- Maintaining credential confidentiality and access token security.
- Implementing appropriate internal access controls.
- Ensuring all users under the account comply with these Terms.
3. Acceptable use
The platform may only be used in accordance with documented interfaces, published specifications, and applicable law.
- No interference with platform security or availability.
- No access to unauthorised systems, accounts, or data.
- No misrepresentation of verification references as certification or judgement.
- No reverse engineering, replication, or derivation except as permitted by law.
4. Sealing and verification references
Sealing produces cryptographic proof of existence and integrity, including hashes, timestamps, and transparency log anchoring.
Verification references are technical outputs only and do not constitute legal opinions, compliance determinations, certifications, endorsements, or assurances of correctness.
5. Customer responsibilities
Customers remain solely responsible for:
- Lawful acquisition and submission of artefacts and content.
- Classification and handling of regulated or sensitive information.
- Compliance with applicable data protection and retention obligations.
- Determining appropriate use of verification references within governance frameworks.
6. Fees, plans, and limits
Service plans, fees, usage limits, and inclusions are defined in the applicable order form, pricing schedule, or enterprise agreement.
Usage beyond agreed limits may result in additional charges, throttling, or suspension as specified.
7. Intellectual property
The platform, methodologies, frameworks, and assurance classes remain the intellectual property of Resolution Assurance™.
Customers retain ownership of submitted artefacts and grant a limited licence to process and store them solely for service delivery.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Services are provided “as is” to the maximum extent permitted by law. Resolution Assurance™ does not warrant uninterrupted operation or fitness for a particular purpose.
Liability is limited as set out in the applicable agreement, excluding indirect or consequential loss where permitted.
9. Suspension and termination
Access may be suspended or terminated to protect platform security, comply with legal obligations, or address misuse or policy violations.
Upon termination, access may cease and data retention will follow the stated retention policy or applicable agreement.
